Seward Alaska Fishing Trips & Rates
Combo Trip
Please check in @ J-Docksportfishing office by 5:30 AM. SeaVenture will leave at 6:00 AM. SeaVenture is a very stable and comfortable 33' Aluminum vessel that is US Coast Guard 5 Star Safety Rated. She has an enclosed cabin, private head, state of the art electronics and all required safety equipment. We will be fishing for Halibut as the primary species for this charter. We will also target Salmon, Ling Cod and/or Rock Fish depending on seasons and weather conditions.The captain will determine which species are targeted. Be sure to bring a lunch or snack and drinks. Please do not bring any bananas as they are considered bad luck.
We will provide all tackle and bait and we will filet any fish that you catch. Be prepared to be out between 8 and 10 hours typically. You will be required to show a current Alaska Department of Fish and Game Fishing License upon boarding Seaventure prior to departing the harbor. If you will be targeting King Salmon you will need to also have a King stamp on this license. Licenses can be obtained on-line through a link on the sewardadventurecharters.com web site home page on the bottom right.
The crew of SeaVenture will work hard to ensure a safe, fun and productive day for you. At the end of the day they will appreciate your gratuities for their hard work. Typical gratuities are 15- 20%.We look forward to your trip with us!
Our Combo Trip is for the group of Clients that want to experience catching a variety of fish and have an enjoyable day on the water. Our Crew will strive to provide a "Grand Slam" (our term for a liimit of Halibut, Ling Cod, Salmon, and Rock Fish). The grand slam has to be after July 1 for Ling Cod to be in season and the Salmon must be at peak.

Halibut
Please arrive at the boat, SeaVenture, on Slip J-31 by 5:45 AM. SeaVenture will leave at 6:00 AM. If you are interested in fishing for multiple species please call us now and change your booking to Combo if available. Be sure to bring a lunch or snack and drinks. Our pricing structure is the same for Halibut only as it is for our Combo. This trip is for the group of clients that want to "Hog Hunt" which is a long slow day of chumming and chumming them in. We will run the same distances, possibly further, burn the same amount of fuel, and pay our crew the same amount. We do not discount this trip but we also do not run you out 45 minutes to the "chicken hole" like many others.
